To elevate BARMER's position as a cutting-edge German health insurance provider amidst the pandemic, we launched a buzzworthy campaign tailored to a young, unconventional audience that challenges the status quo across the board. Our goal was to make a resounding entry into public discourse with a socially relevant, purpose-driven topic.
Our campaign revolved around a clever copy twist, featuring ambiguous headlines that initially appeared as cheeky remarks but, when taken literally and in a medical context, revealed their undeniable truth. These attention-grabbing headlines graced bold posters, billboards, and social media posts, captivating the attention of our target audience all across Germany. To amplify our message, we enlisted the star power of two celebrity TV hosts in three engaging campaign videos. They underscored the importance of gender-sensitive medicine and delved into specific diseases as examples. We followed up with informative and in-depth content pieces on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, all supported by an educational campaign hub.
